Leaked Samsung Wearables and Watch

In Galaxy Wearable app, a user on XDA forums named Mishaal Rahman found a list of devices that haven’t been announced by Samsung. The devices leaked in the app are:

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch Active
  • Galaxy Buds
  • Galaxy Fit/Galaxy Fit E.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active looks like another Samsung Gear variant launching in 2019. The watch is marked as a 40mm model and should feature the rotating dial interface that comes with its Gear devices. It’s not clear if the Galaxy Watch Active is a direct replacement to the previous Gear Watch or a budget offering from Samsung.

Galaxy Buds

Galaxy Buds are the most welcome addition to Samsung’s wearable lineup. The wireless earphones are Samsung’s answer to Apple’s AirPods. Designwise, the earbuds look similar to the wireless buds offered by Bose with a few key changes. For those waiting for the new Galaxy S10 phone from Samsung, you guys should hope that Samsung bundles these earbuds with the phone. The wired headphones from Samsung are excellent in quality, so the Galaxy Buds should be on par with them.

For the fitness fanatics, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit E. The fitness bands are similar to the Mi Band 3 and it’s previous iterations. On the leaked images, the bands show a tracker on the screen with other usual screen icons.

Samsung might announce all these wearables along with its flagship, the Galaxy S10. For more details, keep an eye on the S10 launch event happening today.
