Huawei has finally introduced a new budget smartphone for 2019. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 comes with an entry-level price and boasts budget specs. The phone is set to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy M10 for the budget market.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 Specifications
Huawei Y6 Pro has a 6.09-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch design. The phone’s design is the most improved aspect compared to previous budget models. The bezels look minimal at the sides accompanied by a bottom chin.
The phone is powered by an Helio A22 chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Y6 Pro also has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable via a micro sd card. The phone runs on a 3,020 mAh battery with no mention of fast charging options.
For cameras, the Y6 Pro 2019 provides a single sensor main camera at the back. It has a 13MP, f/1.8 aperture back camera, as opposed to dual cameras available on similar phones. The absence of the secondary depth sensor camera doesn’t sound that bad given the phone’s price. For selfies, it has an 8MP f/2.0 aperture front camera packed inside the notch.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 looks like a good smartphone, but the phone lacks a fingerprint sensor and dual cameras. Dual cameras may sound like a big deal, but the implementations on the budget phones haven’t been the best. Huawei should have put a fingerprint sensor to make this a better offer, but the Galaxy M10 doesn’t have one either. So, in 2019, you may have to sacrifice the fingerprint sensor for this price. Hopefully, the companies will provide a reliable face unlock feature with these phones.
Huawei Y6 Pro Price in Nepal
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 is currently available in the Philippines only. The phone’s equivalent international price is $135. If it comes to Nepal, we can expect a price of Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 15,000.
