Huawei Nepal is finally bringing it’s latest mid-tier smartphone in the Nepali market. Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is coming soon in Nepal, and there are many reasons to be excited. Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 Overview
The Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is the successor to the Huawei Y7 Pro 2018 model. The phone was a decent offering for the price! And now the 2019 model is here with some notable upgrades.
Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is spec-ed out with a Snapdragon 450 chipset, paired with 3GB RAM. The internal storage capacity is up to 32GB, easily expandable via a microSD card. Software-wise, it has the Huawei’s EMUI 8.2 skin on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
Y7 Pro 2019 has a familiar flush colored glossy back with a vertical dual camera design. The phone features a premium build and has the standard Huawei aesthetics all around. It packs a 6.26-inch IPS HD+ display with a notch at the top. The notch is different from the regular phones, at this price, that features an iPhone style notch. The Y7 Pro 2019, on the other hand, features a water-drop style notch. Most of the screen extends up to the edges of the phone except at the bottom and also has that Gorilla Glass protection.
The front notch houses a 16MP selfie shooter, that should be capable of producing highly detailed images. At the back, the dual camera setup comprises of a 13MP primary sensor with a 2MP depth sensor, to emulate the ‘bokeh’ effect.
One major gripe with this phone is the removal of the fingerprint scanner at the back. This makes the face unlock the only available unlocking option for Y7 Pro 2019. Face unlock is definitely the more convenient option, but still lacks the polish and security to replace fingerprint scanner completely. However, with improved software, the face unlock feature from Huawei could be better in terms of security and speed than it’s predecessors. On a lighter note, it features an adequate battery capacity of 4000mAh.
