Google Meet for Android Gets a New UI

Google Meet has gained huge popularity during this pandemic. A lot of people have started working from home and Google Meet has become one of the best ways to stay in contact with colleagues or peers. The video chatting app allows companies, instructors, educators, and family and friends to connect easily. The app is simple and reliable as well. It doesn’t have many features but people are loving it because of how simple it is.

Google Meet – New UI Overview

Google has started rolling out updates for the meet app on Play Store. The new UI makes the app even simpler and the New Meeting button brings up three options:

  • Get a meeting link to share
  • Start an instant meeting
  • Schedule in Google Calendar

The color scheme of the app is also changed from green to the new friendly blue which looks pleasing to the eyes. This new update for the app is available to all Android users, including the Workspace (also known as G-Suite) customers and anyone with a normal Google account.

Verdict

Earlier, when the Google Meet tab got rolled out in Gmail, the service originally got a sleek redesign. That new design was soon brought to the app for iOS. Now, finally, the same experience has made its way to Android.
