Huawei Technologies is preparing to launch a brand new smartphone here in Nepal that offers a pretty massive display at a mid-range price. The device is called the Huawei Y Max and will pack a huge display of 7.12 inches. The bezel-less design makes this phone quite portable despite having such a large screen size.
Huawei smartphones are known to feature impressive features and design. Recently, the company has also produced phones with good cameras at an affordable price. Huawei Nova phones are very well known in Nepal for their beautiful and premium design along with great optics. Y Max is set to follow that trend at a larger package.
Huawei Y Max Specifications
The Huawei Y Max packs in an FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The large screen has a small chin with Huawei’s logo at the bottom with a tear-drop notch at the top. Huawei hasn’t mentioned any screen protection for the display, but this will be confirmed on the phone’s official launch.
Huawei has opted to power this phone with a Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Y Max will pair this midrange processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The whole package draws energy from a 5000mAh battery, that is essential to power the huge display.
For cameras, the phone packs a dual camera set up at the back. The main sensor has 16MP resolution while a secondary depth sensor has a 2MP resolution. The dual 16MP and 2MP sensor should work well to produce some great images. For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera housed within the notch. The price of the Huawei Y Max is yet to be determined! The big screen size of the phone may push the price to a more mid-tier segment.
