Samsung Nepal is preparing to launch its ultimate flagship phone from the latest Galaxy S20 series here in Nepal. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will go on sale next week as the highest costing smartphone from Samsung to date. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra launch in Nepal will unveil the official price of the phone, however since there is no 5G support, we can expect a different price than its 5G variants, found internationally.
S20 Ultra Features & Specifications
The Galaxy S20 Ultra is a next-level flagship phone from Samsung with an all-out spec list and features. Compared to the regular S20 and S20 Plus phones, Galaxy S20 Ultra is almost an overkill. However, you aren’t going to find any phone with this much camera performance, design aesthetics, and raw hardware power anywhere else.
Galaxy S20 Ultra sports a WQHD 1440 resolution AMOLED display measuring at 6.9-inches. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution and standard 60Hz at QHD resolution.
Backing the phone’s performance is the new Snapdragon 865 processor, however, for Nepal, S20 Ultra is expected to feature an Exynos 990 processor with similar performance benchmarks. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is available in 12GB and 16GB RAM configurations, and it is likely that only the 12GB variant will launch in Nepal.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cameras
Galaxy S20 Ultra cameras include a quad-camera setup with a unique TOF 3D sensor, visible in the camera bump of the phone. The main camera is a high-res 108MP sensor with OIS support. There’s also a 48MP periscope zoom camera with 4x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide camera. As for the front camera, it has a whopping 40MP selfie camera.
With this high level of detail, the smallest skin imperfections or pores would be visible. Of course, as more detail is available, apply filters and editing wouldn’t totally obliterate all the detail in the selfies. Very few smartphones can record 8K videos even in this day and age. However, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is capable of recording videos at 8K@24fps, thanks to its high megapixel cameras and powerful hardware
The phone also comes with a large 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. There is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display for faster unlocks.
