Sony has finally unveiled the official design of the new Playstation 5 along with new game titles designed for the next-gen graphics of PS5. Sony confirmed that the Playstation 5 will launch in two types, one with a Blu-ray drive and one without called the Digital Edition. The Sony PS5 games and design news include the announcement of two major sequels, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Horizon: Forbidden West.
Sony PS5 Games and Design
Besides the Spiderman and Horizon sequels, PS5 will also receive new games such as Resident Evil 8 from Capcom, and a racing game called Gran Turismo 7. Other games planned for release for PS5 are:
- Rift Apart
- Project Athia
- Stray
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits
- Oddworld: Soulstorm
- Godfall
- Hitman III
- Little Devil Inside
- NBA 2K21, and many more.

Sony also revealed two versions of PS5, including a standard Playstation 5 and another Playstation Digital Edition. Since the Digital Edition doesn’t have a disc reader, it can cost less than the standard one. Sony also confirmed that the two versions are identical in terms of performance.
PS5 design has also changed into a vertical set up more like a traditional PC tower. The new aesthetics of PS5 blend well with the new DualSense controller design with its black and white colors and blue-accented lighting.
Major tech specs of the PS5 include an 8-core AMD Zen 2 processor along with the AMD Navi graphics. The console will come fitted with 1TB SSD capacity along with a 16GB DDR6 RAM capacity.

Sony has also unveiled a slew of products in the PlayStation 5 family. PS5 accessories include the DualSense controllers, Wireless headsets, Remote controller, and a controller Charging Socket.

Sony Playstation 5 Price & Release Date
Sony didn’t unveil the price of the PS5 in this event, however, rumors suggest a price below $500 for the new consoles. PS5 is scheduled to release at the end of this year.
