Xiaomi has launched its latest entry to the budget series of Redmi smartphones with the Redmi 9 smartphone. Just recently, Xiaomi showed its cards by launching the new Redmi Note 9 in Nepal. Redmi 9 price is aggressively low even though it retains most good features from specced out Redmi phones.
Redmi 9 Specifications and Features
The phone features as 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with a FULL HD resolution. Redmi 9 improves upon the quality of display as its predecessor Redmi 8 only featured a HD+ screen. The display also has Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with an 89.93% screen-to-body ratio. As for the design, the phone has a teardrop notch at the top of the display and a vertical back cameras.
At the center of Redmi 9 performance lies the Helio G80 chipset that sports octa-core processors designed for gaming and power-efficiency. Redmi 9 also has a 3 and 4 GB RAM configurations along with 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage.
The quad-camera setup at the back of Redmi 9 includes a 13MP main camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The other two sensors include a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the front camera, it packs an 8MP sensor for selfies.
Redmi 9 battery also lasts a while thanks to its 5,020 mAh battery capacity along with an 18W fast charging support. The catch is that the phone only ships with a 10W fast charger.

It is available for sale in European countries right now. Redmi 9 price starts from €149 for 3/32GB variant and costs €179 for 4/64GB variant.
