Samsung has finally launched the new Note series smartphones for 2020, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Both phones offer a new camera system along with S-pen stylus upgrades. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 price just falls under the $1000 mark while the ultra-premium Galaxy Note 20 Ultra goes beyond that.
Features & Specs
Starting off with the build, the Note 20 now features a plastic back with a triple camera bump. The phone has a flat 6.7-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone is IP68 certified for dust and waterproof and supports HDR+ content.
As for performance, it packs a Snapdragon 865+ processor along with 8GB RAM and 256GB non-expandable storage. The phones launching anywhere other than the U.S. will ship with an Exynos 990 chipset.
The camera specs on Galaxy Note 20 is typical of a flagship phone with a triple camera setup. It sports a 12MP main camera with OIS. The large pixel size of 1.8µm in this camera is better equipped to handle low-light situations. The other cameras include a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 30x hybrid zoom. There’s also a decent 12MP ultra-wide camera here. Galaxy Note 20 is capable of recording 8K videos however with its telephoto camera. This is the same limitation as to the older Galaxy S20 phone. As for the front, camera the hole-punch display houses a 10MP selfie camera.
Galaxy Note 20 has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The S-Pen that comes with Note 20 has higher latency than the one in Note 20 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 also has a long-lasting battery of 4300 mAH capacity. It supports 25W fast charging and PD 3.0 standard.

The phone is up for pre-orders globally. It is expected to arrive in the Nepali market in the next month. The Galaxy Note 20 price is $999.99 in the U.S.
