Vivo has officially launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Vivo Y81. The phone is the latest addition to Vivo’s Y series of smartphones. The phone, like the current trend packs the infamous notch design. Including this, here is everything the phone has to offer for a price tag of Rs Rs. 24,190.
Vivo Y81 Overview
The Vivo Y81 packs a 6.22 inch IPS HD (1520×720) display with an 19:9 aspect ratio. A notch occupies the top center of the phone housing things like the ear-piece, front camera, and some array of sensors. And encasing the internals of the phone is a plastic body which is quite daunting.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y81 packs an octa-core Helio P22 processor along with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The processor is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y81 packs a f/2.2 13MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. The phone also packs a f/2.2 5MP front camera for all your social media worthy selfies. The Y81 sadly doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner which is quite a bummer.
Moving on, at the software front, the phone runs Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally powering the device all up is a 3260mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be more than enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.
