Huawei has launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Huawei Nova 3i. The phone was launched in an event held in China, alongside the Huawei Nova 3. As the name suggests, the phone is the true successor to last years high-selling Nova 2i. But unlike its predecessor, the phone ditches its contemporary design in favor of a notch design. Dismay not, as the phone still packs the quad-camera set up which the series is known for. Priced at RMB 1,999, here is everything else the phone has to offer.
Huawei Nova 3i Overview
The Huawei Nova 3i packs a 6.3 inch Full HD (1080 x 2340) IPS display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The infamous notch makes a return residing on the top center of the display. And encasing the internals of the phone is a metal chassis with a glass back.
Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 3i packs an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710 processor along with the Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.

In the camera department, the Huawei Nova 3i follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and packs a quad-camera setup. The phone flaunts a dual rear camera set up combining a 16MP and a 2MP sensor. The phone also packs a dual front-camera set up made by a 24MP and a 2MP sensor. And sitting just below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel.
Moving on, at the software front, the Nova 3i runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The custom software brings a lot of useful features including the new GPU turbo technology. Gaming will be a blissful sensation on the new Nova smartphone! And finally powering the device all up is a 3340mAh non-user removable battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.
