Vivo Nepal has finally taken the wraps off of its latest mid-tier smartphone, the Vivo V9. In an event held at Soaltee Hotel, the company unveiled their latest edge to edge smartphone- with a notch! Priced at Rs 37,790, here are all the things the phone has to offer.

The Vivo V9 packs a 6.3 inch 1080 x 2280 display giving it a pixel density of 400PPI. It comes edged out with a 2.5D glass and an infamous notch at the top. Very similar to a phone from a fruit company we all know! That being said, the device itself looks captivating with an 85.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the V9 packs a Qualcomm MSM8953-Pro Snapdragon 626 processor along with the Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G compatible.
In the camera department, the Vivo V9 packs a dual-camera set up made by a 16+5MP combo. At the front, you have a whopping f/2.0 24MP front camera. Vivo is going all out in the selfie department with this phone! No wonder they are highly marketing the device as a selfie-centric smartphone. And just below the rear camera, a fingerprint scanner is kept snug, unlike Apple who decided to do away with the sensor.

Moving on, at the software front, the V9 runs Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally powering this device all up is a 3260mAh non-user removable battery. This, without a doubt, will be enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge. Vivo, however, could have included a USB Type-C port instead of the USB 2.0 that the phone comes with.
