Two months back, Oppo launched the Oppo A3 with an infamous notch design. The device also had an ample 128GB of onboard storage, which was a bit odd for a mid-tier device. Now, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced the 3GB RAM variant of OPPO A3s which is the successor to the 2GB RAM model of the same smartphone. Oppo A3s is the downgraded version of the Oppo A3 which is available at a budget range.
Oppo A3s Overview
The Oppo A3s come with a 6.2-inch HD+ ‘Super Full Screen’ in-cell IPS display with a 720x1520p resolution. The display has a 19:9 aspect ratio and 88.8% screen-to-body-ratio.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A3s comes with dual camera setup on the rear panel with a primary sensor of a 13MP and secondary sensor of 2MP coupled with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel sensor which has support for AI Beauty technology 2.0.
Powering the Oppo A3s is an octa-core Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The Oppo A3s is available in 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and the 3GB RAM/32GB of internal storage, which can expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1 on top. The Oppo A3s also comes with face unlock support for data protection. Fueling up the device is a giant 4230mAh non-user removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. Sensors onboard the smartphone consists of an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. The Oppo A3s measures 156.2×75.6×8.2mm and weighs in at 168 grams.
Oppo A3s price in Nepal and availability
The 2GB RAM model of the Oppo A3s is available in Dark Purple and Red color variants. In the same color options, the phone also comes in a 3GB variant. The availability of the Oppo A3s in Nepalese market is yet to be officially announced by the company. The Oppo A3s (2GB variant) was released in July 2018, and now we will see an upgraded RAM version of the Oppo A3s in a purple finish.
