Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Xiaomi products in Nepal has begun taking pre-orders for the 32GB variant of the popular Xiaomi Mi A1. The phone is just the lower storage capacity variant of the already available Mi A1 with 64GB of internal storage. The phone is priced at Rs 26,999 with it being available in all major stores throughout the nation starting next week. That aside here is everything the phone has to offer.
Xiaomi Mi A1 Overview
The Xiaomi Mi A1 (32GB) packs a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 403 PPI. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. The phone comes encased in a metallic shell giving it a premium look and feel.
Under the hood, the Mi A1 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with the Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, this time around. The memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The A1 also supports dual sim cards but only at the expense of the memory card slot.

In the camera department, the Mi A1 packs a dual-camera set up with a combination of two 12MP sensors with f/2.2 and f/2.6 aperture. The secondary camera, just like the one on the iPhone 7 Plus is used for a 2X optical zoom. There is also a 5MP front camera for all your high-res selfies.
The Mi A1 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software-wise, the phone runs the Android One version of Android 7.1.2 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 3080mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues. And if the battery does run out there is the inclusion of Quick Charge and USB Type C port for faster charging time.

As you can see, nothing much has changed from the original Mi A1 except the storage capacity and the price obviously. The phone is priced Rs 3000 less than the 64GB variant! This is a great opportunity for those who wanted to buy the Mi A1 at a bit discounted price. That said, since the price gap is not that huge, I suggest you guys go with the 64GB variant of the phone instead of the newly launched 32GB variant.
