At the front, the display of Honor 8S packs a small notch for the front camera. The phone measures at 5.71-inches and, the 19:9 aspect ratio helps to keep the size of the phone smaller. Honor 8S screen is a 720p HD resolution IPS LCD screen, and you will notice the resolution difference due to the big screen.
For performance, Honor 8S is a modest champ. The phone just packs a Quad-core Helio A22 chip, but the phone is still capable of running the Android Pie OS with ease and no stutter. On the other hand, the 2GB RAM onboard can handle 2-3 apps without resetting the app on the background.
Honor 8S cameras include a 13MP main shooter located at the back along with an LED flash. The 5MP selfie shooter and the main shooter offer the basic camera experience without including any dual camera features.
For security, the phone has no fingerprint scanner and instead uses the front camera for face unlock. Honor 8S has no fast charging options but packs an adequate 3020 mAh battery.
