Gionee S11 coming soon to Nepal?

As Gionee is gearing up to launch the M7 Power, we hear a rumor that the Chinese OEM is planning to launch the Gionee S11 soon here in Nepal. Unlike the M7 Power, the S11 keeps up with the trend offering both a near bezel-less design and a quad-camera setup. But is the Gionee S11 coming soon to Nepal? What will be the price of the phone? Well, before we answer all these questions, let’s take a closer look at what the phone has to offer.

The Gionee S11 packs a 5.99 inch Full HD (1080*2160) IPS display with an 18:9 near bezel-less design. The display comes pixel-packed at 403PPI with a 2.5D glass backing it up. Encasing the internal components of the phone is a glass and metal combo giving it a premium look and feel. Under the hood, the phone comes with an octa-core MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 processor along with the Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G compatible.

In the camera side of things, the Gionee S11 packs a dual-camera set up made by a 16MP and a 5MP sensor. The phone also has a dual-camera at the front comprising of a 16MP and an 8MP sensor. Sensor wise, the S11 packs all the essentials like a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, proximity, and an accelerometer. Moving on, in the software department, the phone runs Amigo UI 5.0 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 3410mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a day worth of battery life on a single charge without any issue.


The Gionee S11 with a quad-camera set up and a near borderless design is looking to dominate the Nepalese market. It will go head to head with the likes of the Huawei Nova 2i and the soon to be launched InFocus Vision 4. So is the Gionee S11 coming soon to Nepal? Well, the answer is most probably as it is the rumor we have heard so far. Talking about pricing, the S11 will cost you around Rs 30,000. Nothing is official yet and I request all you guys to take this news with a grain of salt.
