Teletalk Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Gionee smartphones in Nepal, is gearing up to launch their latest mid-tier smartphone- the Gionee M7 Power. The phone is the latest addition to their M series of smartphones which is well known for the superb battery life and performance they provide. With an expected price of Rs 28,000, here are all the things the phone brings to the table.
The Gionee M7 Power packs a 6.0-inch HD (720 x 1440) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 268PPI. Encasing this almost bezel-less design is a metallic-shell which looks and feel very premium. The display itself is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Under the hood, the M7 Power packs an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 processor along with the Adreno 505 GPU. Backing the processor is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The inbuilt memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also is dual-sim capable and supports 4G connectivity.

In the camera department, the M7 Power packs a f/2.0 13MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.2 8MP front camera for all your social media ready selfies. And just sitting below the rear-camera is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, and a compass. Software-wise, the phone runs Amigo UI 5.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering the device all up is a large 5000mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the low-res display will be enough to get users 2 days worth of battery life on a single charge without any issues.
Gionee M7 Power looks to be one heck of a smartphone, at least on paper. The phone is expected to launch here in Nepal in the last week of December this year.
