Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship for 2019, the Xiaomi Mi 9. The phone launched in Beijing, China on Feb 20th and will launch globally on Mobile World Congress 2019 event on February 24th. It features the latest Snapdragon processors and a 48MP main camera at the back.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 packs a Snapdragon 855 processor, the flagship SoC for 2019. The Octa-core chipset has a single 2.84 GHz core, three 2.42GHz cores, and four 1.8GHz clocked cores. Along with the Adreno 640 GPU, Mi 9 is one of the most powerful phone out there. The phone can run most games and media apps with ease.
Xiaomi launched Mi 9 with a 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and 8GB RAM, 128GB storage variants. This whole package runs on a 3300mAh battery pack that supports fast charging up to 27W power.
Mi 9 has three main rear cameras this year that has 3 different functions. The main sensor is a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with 0.8 µm pixel size. It has an aperture of f/1.75 so, it can let in more light than before. This allows the sensor to work well in low-light conditions!
The second sensor is a 12MP telephoto sensor that offers 2x optical zoom. This allows zooming in on subjects with no loss in image details. Mi 9 also has a new 16MP wide-angle camera for easy wide shots. This focal length allows taking pictures in small spaces and to include more objects in the frame.
The phone has a 24 MP front camera that sits in the teardrop notch, at the front. Mi 9 display is almost bezel-less with the small notch at the top. It is built with a solid design and has a color-shifting back panel. The phone also packs a 6.39-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has a better color range with DCI-P3 support and HDR support. The phone also supports wireless charging by using a wireless charging dock. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner built into the display.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Price in Nepal
Xiaomi and OnePlus phones used to be priced under Rs 50,000 before. However, the prices have been increasing with every new flagship introduced in the market. In our opinion, the phone will be priced close to Rs 60,000 in Nepal. Since it is just a guess, we urge our viewers to take it with a grain of salt. The actual pricing will be unveiled only during the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9!
