Xiaomi Mi 6 Overview
The Xiaomi Mi6 packs a 5.15 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 428PPI. The display comes encased in a metallic frame with a glass back and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. This combo of glass and metal gives the phone a sturdy build and a premium feel.
Under the hood, the phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with the Adreno 540 GPU. The processor is backed by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The internal storage sadly can’t be further expanded but the phone does support dual Sim cards.
In the camera side of things, the phone packs a dual camera setup comprised of an f/1.8 12MP and an f/2.8 12MP rear camera. The rear cameras are backed by a dual-tone LED flash and OIS. Software wise the phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Xiaomi’s own custom skin MIUI 8 overlaid on top of it. The phone will also be among the very first to receive the new MIUI 9 update from Xiaomi.
The Mi 6 also packs a super-fast fingerprint scanner which resides in its front-mounted home button. Other sensors include an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, and Compass. Finally, powering this device all up is a 3350mAh non-user removable battery. This paired with the optimized MIUI software will make for a prolonged battery life.
