The OPPO A7 started appearing in rumors and leaks about a month ago. The rumors mainly focused on the design of the phone, the Waterdrop notch, and the huge 4230mAh battery. And now it is time for the real deal! The OPPO A7 is finally available in the Nepalese market. This A7 is mainly targeted at the South Asian market including Nepal. The OPPO A7 is a mid-tier smartphone with a premium design and a huge battery.

The OPPO A7 features a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display panel has an 88.3% screen-to-body ratio and pixel density of 271ppi. There is also a beautiful Waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. The display also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 which is an octa-core CPU. The phone also has an Adreno 506 GPU for smooth graphical rendering. The Chinese version of the phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. While in Nepal, we get only the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, with support for a microSD card.
Talking about the optics, the phone has a dual rear camera setup with 13MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensing unit. The more impressive sensor, however, is the front-facing snapper which is a 16MP lens. The shooter has plenty of AI features including a special 8 MP Beauty shot. The setup on the back allows you to edit the background blur even after taking a shot.
Fueling up the device is a huge 4230mAh non-user removable battery. The phone runs on Android 8.1 with ColorOS 5.2 skin on top. The sensors onboard include an accelerometer, proximity, and compass sensor. However, the phone lacks the gyroscope sensor and cannot play 360-degree contents. In terms of connectivity options, the device has a dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB with OTG support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The OPPO A7 is currently available for Rs. 35,790 and the price is somewhat not suitable for the given spec sheet. The phone is available in three colors, Glazing Blue and Dazzling Gold. You can now buy the phone from any of the official OPPO retail stores spread across the nation.
