Chinese Smartphone giant Huawei has unveiled the Honor 9i in India. The major highlight of the new honor smartphone is that it incorporates two camera setups on both front and back. Honor 9i also sports a full view display as a major facet of the phone. The newly launched Honor 9i is quite identical to the Huawei Miamang 6 which was launched in China last month.Honor 9i assimilates a 5.9 full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and a screen body ratio of 83 percent. It comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and with a full view display as mentioned earlier. Honor 9i has a metal and unibody design making it a premium looking smartphone. An octa-core Kirin 659 processor powers the handset clocked at 2.36GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset is backed by a 3340mAh battery which the company claims can deliver up to two days of standby time.
At the front, it sports a 13-megapixel sensor accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field enabled shots. At the back, there’s a 16-megapixel primary sensor clubbed with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Dual cameras on both panels mean that the handset is capable of clicking Bokeh shots and portraits. Huawei has also added ‘Huawei Histen audio system’ in the Honor 9i which enhances the sound output. The smartphone also comes up with gesture-based shortcuts which enhances the usability if the phone.
Honor 9i is priced at INR 17,999 (around Rs. 29000) and is available in three color schemes: Platinum Gold, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black.

Honor 9i seems to be a promising mid-range smartphone from Huawei. It is sure to be admired by the Nepalese smartphone enthusiasts once it launches in Nepal. How shall it stand against the other smartphones at the same price range? We will know it in the months to come.
