After a long slumber, COLORS Mobile is back with a new smartphone, the COLORS Pride 5X. The phone is the latest addition to their popular Pride series of smartphones. The phone packs a dual-camera setup, targeting the photo enthusiasts. COLORS also brings face recognition to the device which is quite new for the segment. Besides these two features, here is everything else the phone has to offer for a price of Rs 11,999.
COLORS Pride 5X Overview
The COLORS Pride 5X packs a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is covered by Dragontrail glass giving it protection against drops and scratches.
Under the hood, the COLORS Pride 5X rocks a quad-core MT6739WA processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The SoC is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB.

In the camera department, the COLORS Pride 5X packs a dual-camera set up made by an 8MP and a 0.3MP sensors. The phone also sports a 5MP front camera, accompanied by a LED flash, for all your social media ready selfies. And sitting below the rear camera is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. The 5X also comes with a face unlock feature for added security. An amazing inclusion on the OEM’s part!
Moving on, at the software front, the COLORS Pride 5X runs on an almost stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally powering the device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This, without a doubt, will be enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.
COLORS Pride 5X Price in Nepal
The COLORS Pride 5X Price in Nepal is Rs 11,999. The phone, as of right now, is only available for pre-booking to the retailers. They can order up the phone from the COLORS smart app available in the Play Store. The pre-booking of the COLORS Pride 5X for the retailer has started from the 10th of December and will be valid till the 15th of December. The retail buyers will get one attractive gift box per handset and a Rs 250 cash back per handset upon pre-book of minimum 2 handsets. The consumers, however, will have to wait till the 16th of the month to get their hands on the phone.
