Ulefone smartphones have most recently faded from the general smartphone market, as they have delved deeper in rugged phones. Most of Ulefone phones are now rugged versions of normal android smartphones. However, Ulefone is back again with a new budgt Ulefone Note 8P phone. The Ulefone Note 8P price and specifications match perfectly, as the phone packs the bare minimum to pass as a functional Android phone.

Ulefone Note 8P looks almost the same as any other Android phone out there. With its water-drop notch display and a colored back with a nice camera bump, the phone looks generic. However, this is one of its greatest strength given the price and other specs it packs. The phone has a respectably large 5.5-inch LTPS display, However, the display only has a measly 442×960 pixels resolution. Since its not even 720p, the phone doesn’t even pass as a HD only phone.
In terms of performance, it packs a power-efficient quad-core processor from Mediatek. The Mediatek MT6737 processor on board is paired with a Mali-T720 GPU along with a 2GB RAM. The phone has a 16GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card. There is atleast a dedicated SD card slot besides the two sim cards, so there’s no compromise between dual sim or more storage.
Ulefone Note 8P cameras include an 8MP main camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. The camera can record just upto 720p resolution. The dual camera setup is supplemented by a 5MP selfie camera at the front.
The phone comes along with a new Android 10 Go edition, so it has the latest lite Android system. Ulefone Note 8P doesn’t have any fingerprint unlocking but supports a software-based Face Unlocking system. The phone has a 2700mAh battery with a 5W charging support.
