OPPO has officially launched its A series 2020 smartphones to celebrate the start of the new decade. The two new phones in the A series are A9 2020 and A5 2020. Both phones come with multiple cameras, the latest hardware, and big batteries. OPPO A5 2020 price in Nepal fall under 30K and is the budget option between the two.
OPPO A9 2020 & OPPO A5 2020: Specs, Features
The new A-series phones look very similar to previous OPPO phones. It now has a centered camera at the back with an oval fingerprint scanner. Both the A9 2020 and A5 2020 have similar features in terms of build, hardware and screen size.
A9 2020 and A5 2020 both have the same body and a 6.5-inch screen with 1600×720 resolution. The screen envelopes most of the phone at the front except a small tear-drop notch at the top.
Both phones come with the Snapdragon 665 processor, but with different RAM options. OPPO A9 2020 costs more and comes with 4GB and 8GB RAM options. OPPO A5 2020 only has 3GB and 4GB RAM options. Although both phones pack the same processor, the difference in RAM size can affect the smoothness and multitasking while using and switching between apps.
A9 2020 vs A5 2020 camera
Despite all the similarities between the A9 and A5 2020, the cameras clearly put A9 2020 on top of the A5. For OPPO A9 2020 camera, it has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP mono sensor, and another 2MP depth sensor.
OPPO A5 2020 also has four cameras that include a 12MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and the same other 2MP sensors. The advantage in resolution puts the A9 on top of A5 here.
Similarly, for front cameras, A9 2020 comes with 16MP selfie camera, while the A5 2020 has an 8MP camera at the front.
Both phones have plenty of juice and can last a while without charging. The 5000 mAh battery is plenty compared to other phones in the market. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and should support a form of face-unlock.
