Overview
The Coolpad Cool 6 has a lot of interesting features. The main highlight, however, has to be its motorized selfie camera. The contraption sits atop of the phone and packs a 21MP shooter. This not only gives the phone an edge but also helps its look seamless with no weird punch-hole or notch obstructing the display.
Speaking of which, the Cool 6 packs a 6.53-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has an 84.3% screen-to-body ratio giving it an immersive experience. Watching Movies and binging some Netflix should be a pleasurable experience.
Under the hood, the phone packs a Mediatek MT6771T Helio P70 SoC backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Although the processor is good for day-to-day tasks, this is one area we feel that Coolpad could have given a little more thought to. And linking the hardware to the software is a pretty stock version of Android 10. Other perks of the phone include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-sim capabilities, storage expansion via micro-sd card, and a 4000mah battery.
In the camera department, the Cool 6 flaunts a triple camera set up made by a 48MP Wide, 2MP Depth, and a 2MP Macro sensor. With these combinations, the phone is able to take some great pictures. The low-light capability is also really good for a phone of this caliber.
