Mi Nepal has officially launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. After almost a week of teasing the phone, the company has officially launched their latest addition to the Note series. The phone, for the price, has a lot to offer! It packs a quad-camera setup, a notched display, and some powerful internals. Including these, here is everything the phone has to offer for a starting price of Rs 24,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Overview
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a 6.26-inch Full HD (1080 x 2280 pixels) IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch makes an appearance residing in the top center of the display. And encasing the internals of the device is a metallic body with a brushed-off finish.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro packs an octa-core Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 processor along with the Adreno 509 GPU. The SoC is backed by 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.

In the camera department, the Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a total of 4 cameras. A pair on either side of the phone! At the back, we have a f/1.9 12MP and a f/2.2 5MP sensors. While the front houses a f/2.0 20MP and a f/2.2 2MP sensors. And sitting below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel.
Moving on, at the software side of things, the Note 6 Pro runs MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally, powering this device all up is a 4000mAh non-user removable battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a day of usage on a single charge.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price in Nepal is Rs 24,999 for the 3GB RAM variant. The 4GB RAM version, on the other hand, comes in at Rs 28,999. This is an acceptable pricing for the phone as it cost INR 13,999 in India. Although, it will be competing directly with its own product, the POCOPHONE F1 with a slightly higher price.
