Vivo has launched another smartphone in Nepal, and this time its an affordable mid-ranger under Rs. 30,000. The new phone is the Vivo Y30 that packs a quad-camera setup along with a 5000mAh battery. Vivo Y30 price in Nepal puts it up against the likes of the new Realme 6i along with Redmi Note 9. However, the phone specs look underwhelming, atleast on paper.
Vivo Y30 Features and Specs
Starting off with the pros of the new Vivo Y30, it packs a modern design with a premium looking display with a hole-punch display. Vivo Y30 display is quite large at 6.47-inches and offer upto HD+ resolution of 1560×720 pixels.
Vivo Y30 performance is backed by a Mediatek Helio P35 processor. The phone offers a 4GB RAM and a 64GB/128GB storage options. The phone supports Mult-Turbo 3.0 feature, that helps to maximize performance and reduce stutter during intensive tasks like gaming.
In terms of camera performance, Vivo Y30 packs a quad-camera setup with a 13MP main camera. Compared to the usual 48MP cameras found in this price range, the 13MP camera sounds underwhelming. The other 3 cameras in the list includes an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The punch hole on the display houses a single selfie camera with an 8MP sensor.
Vivo Y30 specs suggest that the company has under delivered. But, the phone still packs a respectable 5000 mAh battery. The phone even supports a 5W reverse charging, but the spec sheets doesn’t mention any form of fast charging support.
