It’s official! The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo will launch Nepal’s first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner tomorrow. Named the Vivo V11/ V11 Pro, it will be unveiled at a launch event in Hotel Yellow Pagoda, Kantipath on September 13. The phone after only a week from the international debut will make its official debut in Nepal. Let’s take a deeper look at the two phones and see what they really have to offer.

Vivo V11 Overview

The phone sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2280. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek MT6771 Helio P60 octa-core chipset. The phone has 4GB of RAM on offer along with 128GB of onboard storage. The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo V11 runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

On the optics front, the Vivo V11 bears a dual camera setup with a 16MP primary and a 5MP secondary sensor. For selfie, there is a 25MP with tons of AI features.

The internal storage of Vivo V11 can be further expanded up to 256GB via dedicated microSD card slot. Fueling up the device is a 3315mAh non-user removable battery with 18W quick-charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0. In terms of dimensions, it measures 155.97×75.63×8.1mm and weighs 163 grams.

The dual-SIM Vivo V11 Pro runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080x2340p resolution. The display is of 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a Halo FullView notch. Powering the device is a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It comes with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V11 Pro bears a dual camera setup with a 12MP primary and a 5MP secondary sensor, similar to the ones present in Vivo X21 and Vivo Nex S. For selfie, there is a same 25MP sensor from V11.

The Vivo V11 Pro has the same Dual SIM and a microSD card solution like in V11. Fueling up the device is a 3400mAh battery with 18W quick-charging support. However, it has a Micro-USB port instead of a Type-C. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0. In terms of dimensions, it measures 157.9x75x7.9mm and weighs 156 grams.

Both the Vivo V11 and Vivo V11 Pro are excellent smartphones that have a lot to offer. The price tag of the V11 is expected to be around Rs 41,500. The V11 Pro will come at an estimated price tag of around Rs 45,500. These, however, are ballpark figures so I suggest you guys to take it with a grain of salt. Exact pricing can’t be determined until Vivo officially launches the phone tomorrow.
