Samsung has recently unveiled their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime in India. The phone is kind of a follow up to 2016’s Galaxy On 7 Pro. The phone, now, brings a lot of improvements both in terms of specs and design compared to its predecessor. Let’s us find out what are the changes the phone has to offer for a price of INR 12,990 (3GB) and INR 14,990 (4GB).
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime packs a 5.5-inch Full-HD PLS display with a pixel density of 401PPI. The display comes edged out by a 2.5D glass which gives users a seamless experience. Under the hood, the On7 Prime packs an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor along with a Mali- T830 GPU. The processor is backed by 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The On7 Prime also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G capable.

In the Camera department, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime packs a f/1.9 13MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. The phone also has a f/1.9 13MP front camera for all your selfies. Moving on, at the software front, the device runs Samsung UX based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The On7 Prime also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phones home button. Other sensors include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and a digital compass.
Samsung with this phone has also launched their new app called the Samsung Mall. This app basically is an e-commerce shopping curator which helps you find products easily. Users can find the good they are searching for through image input just like you would with Bixby Vision. This app very well might be powered by Bixby! And finally juicing this device all up is a 3300mAh non-user removable battery.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime looks to be a great mid-tier smartphone that packs the right specs and design. It offers everything you would expect from a sub Rs 25,000 (NRS) smartphone.
