Samsung Galaxy S10 phones are now available for purchase in Nepal after the end of pre-orders on March 14. People can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e via Samsung distributors throughout Nepal.
Well, that was quick! Samsung Galaxy S10 phones only became available internationally on March 8, and just after a week, we get to buy these flagship phones here in Nepal. However, the prices of these phones have never been higher along with the incredible design and spec upgrades following the Galaxy S9/S9+.
Samsung Galaxy S10e
The cheapest one of the bunch, S10e is a premium smartphone that houses most of the specs found in S10 and S10+. The phone retains the same Exynos 9820 processor as the pricier S10 and S10+ along with similar camera offerings.
The Samsung Galaxy S10e has 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by a 3100mAh battery with fast battery charging capability. Performance-wise the phone is the same as the other S10 phones.
The primary difference of S10E is it’s smaller and toned down design with respect to the S10 and S10+. The phone display measures at 5.8-inch with a vibrant AMOLED display. The screen is still very good but slightly smaller! The phone removed the curved edges of the phone found in S-series devices since the S7 edge. It still has the Gorilla Glass protection along with other characteristics of typical S-AMOLED displays. It also misses out on the in-display fingerprint scanner and instead has a typical capacitance fingerprint sensor that sits on the power bottom, at the side.
S10e has a dual camera at the back made by a primary 12MP sensor with a variable aperture of f/1.5-2.4 along with an ultra-wide 16MP lens. At the front, it has a 10MP, f/1.9 front camera resting at the iconic hole-punch cut out.

Samsung Galaxy S10
The Galaxy S10 sits at the middle with its price and specs. There’s very little that distinguishes itself from S10+.
First, the display! The S10 has a 6.1-inch Quad HD (1440 x 3040 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The panel is HDR compatible and uses Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
As mentioned before, S10 has the same Exynos 9820 processor with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. It has a larger 8GB RAM that pairs with 128GB of internal storage. Design-wise, the phone uses the typical curved edge display along with the hole-punch notch at the top right corner.
Galaxy S10 also has a better featured triple camera setup housing the 12MP main sensor, 16MP ultra-wide sensor, and an extra 12MP telephoto camera sensor. The inclusion of an extra zoom camera sensor provides more options for S10 users while taking images.
A few remaining notable features of S10 include the in-display fingerprint scanner that uses ultrasonic technology. For power, S10 uses a 3400mAh battery that can even charge other phones while still supporting wireless charging.

Since its launch ten years ago, the Galaxy S series has stood for premium innovation – offering consumers an incredible experience, and the ability to find the device that’s right for them,” said Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Head of IMBiz, Samsung Electronics Nepal. “Galaxy S10 builds on that incredible legacy and delivers breakthrough display, camera, and performance innovations. With four premium devices, each built for a unique consumer in mind, Samsung is leveraging a decade of industry leadership to usher in a new era of smartphone technology.
Samsung Galaxy S10+
S10+ is the most expensive Samsung phone to date. It has a larger 6.4-inch Quad HD Dynamic AMOLED display with a similar design of S10. Due to the use of a dual camera for selfie, the notch is wider than the other two phones.
The processor is the same as the S10 and S10e for S10+. The phone, however, does provide beefier RAM and internal storage configurations out of the box, i.e. 8GB, 128GB and 8GB, 512GB.
The triple camera set up at the back is the same, but the front camera has a few changes. The dual camera at the front houses the 10MP main sensor with an 8MP depth sensor. This allows the front camera to use hardware along with software to mimic the portrait selfie more effectively.

Honestly, the increase in the prices is really discouraging compared to last year. All these phones provide incredible specs and beautiful design.
