Realme is back at it again with two new mid-range smartphone releases in its new X7 series. The Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro price and features put it in a mid-range lineup alongside many promising smartphones. But, the phone packs a new Dimensity chipset that packs an upgrade in performance alongside support for the 5G network. Let’s take a look at the two phones and discuss the specs and performance expectations from the Realme X7 series phones.
Realme X7 Specs
Realme X7 is the less exciting one in the X7 pair as it features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It also has a FULL HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz so there is little chance of input lag while gaming.
Realme X7 comes with Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset along with a Mali-G57 GPU. They are accompanied by an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The phone boasts a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP B/W depth camera and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, the hole-punch on the display packs a high res 32MP selfie camera.
As for the standby time and gaming endurance, Realme X7 comes with a 4300 mAh battery, so it should offer decent screen on time. Moreover, the impressive 65W fast charging should get the phone back up and running in no time.
Realme X7 Pro Specs & Features
Now coming back to the more exciting one of the two, Realme X7 Pro offers a few key upgrades over the Realme X7. First, it packs a larger 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and FULL HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Both phones feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Realme X7 Pro also packs a more powerful octa-core Dimensity 1000+ processor along with a Mali-G77 graphics unit. Realme X7 Pro has a similar 8GB max RAM along with 256GB of internal storage. It also has a Vapor Chamber cooling setup that promises better cooling up to 10 degrees Celsius.
Realme X7 Pro also has a similar quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP main camera. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and the same 2MP macro and B/W depth camera. As for the front, it packs the same 32MP selfie camera.
Both phones offer an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. But, the Realme X7 Pro offers a slightly larger 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
Realme X7 Pro Price & Release Date
The company is currently taking pre-orders for both phones in China. Realme X7 Pro price is CNY 2,199 ( ~$320) for the 6GB/128GB variant. It costs CNY 2,499 and 3,199 for the 8/128GB and 8/256GB variants. The vanilla Realme X7 price starts from CNY 1,799(~$320) for the 6/128GB variant. The higher-end 8/128GB variant of Realme X7 costs CNY 2,399.
