OPPO has added two new phones into its F-series, the OPPO F17 and the OPPO F17 Pro. While the OPPO F17 features a balance of core specifications and cameras, OPPO F17 Pro offers higher resolution snappers and a faster processor. Let’s take a look at the OPPO F17 Pro price and features and see how it compares to OPPO F17 specs.
OPPO F17 Pro Features & Specs
The highlighting feature for the OPPO F17 Pro is that it is the “sleekest phone of 2020” according to Oppo. The company boasts its slim design and light build which supposedly sets itself apart from the competition. Both OPPO F17 Pro and F17 feature a thin body profile.
OPPO F17 Pro features a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with FULL HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display also has a dual camera punch hole for the selfie cameras. Unfortunately, the phone has a regular 60Hz refresh rate screen.
OPPO F17 Pro performance is dictated by the Helio P95 chipset by Mediatek. The performance at offer is nothing to write home about, so expect an average gaming experience. It does offer plenty of space for multitasking with its 8GB LPDDR4x RAM. And the phone offers 128GB internal storage with support for microSD card.
OPPO F17 Pro packs a quad-camera setup at the back. The main camera is a 48MP camera accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle camera. The other two cameras include a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the dual selfie cameras, on is a 16MP Sony IMX 471 camera and the other is a 2MP depth sensor. The additional 2MP camera enables portrait effect with blurred backgrounds in selfies.
OPPPO F17 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone boasts a 4000mAh battery with a 30W VOOC flash charge 2.0 support. This fast charging tech can charge the phone upto 100% in 53 minutes.
OPPO F17 Features & Specs
OPPO F17 is very similar in design to the OPPO F17 Pro. It also has a slim build with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with FULL HD+ resolution. The display does look different, as vanilla OPPO F17 has a water-drop notch at the top instead of the dual-camera cutout like in the Pro version.
OPPO F17 featurs a Snapdragon 662 prorcessor alongside a max. 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also supports using a memory card to extend storage.
The OPPO F17 also has a quad-camera setup but with a lower res 16MP main camera. The other cameras are the same though including the 8MP wide angle camera and the two 2MP cameras.
The battery specs also are the same with 4000mAh capacity and 30W VOOC fast charging. Surprisingly, OPPO F17 also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, so users don’t have to compromise too many features while choosing between the two F17 phones.
OPPO F17 Pro Price & Release Date
The OPPO F17 price is Rs. 22,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant in India. The price of OPPO F17 Pro hasn’t yet been revealed, but it is going on sale from September 7 in India.
