The OPPO A92 smartphone recently launched in the Malaysian market with key features like a 5000mAh battery and 8GB of RAM. The phone comes at a mid-range price competing with the likes of Redmi Note 9, Galaxy M30s, etc.
OPPO A92 Overview
In terms of design, the phone looks very similar to the OPPO A52 and OPPO A72. It has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera at one corner, and a quad-camera bump at the back. OPPO A92 display is also big, with a 6.5-inch measurement. It has a FULL HD+ resolution panel based on IPS LCD tech.
A major draw of OPPO A92 is its large 5000mAh battery that dwarves the battery capacity of many of its competitors. Instead of going for an in-display fingerprint scanner, OPPO A92 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
OPPO A92 hardware includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset along with Adreno 610 graphics unit. It pairs nicely with a spacious 8GB of RAM and 128GB flash storage. This amount of RAM will satisfy any power-user with multi-tasking addiction. OPPO A92 runs on Android 10 software with ColorOS 7.1.1 skin on top.
As for the cameras, OPPO A92 comes with a quad-camera setup including a 48MP main camera. Other cameras include an 8MP ultrawide-angle sensor, a 2MP B/W sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Even though these specs are nothing to frown upon, a telephoto lens would be welcome for a change.
For selfies, OPPO A92 packs a 16MP front camera. The main camera can shoot 4K video at 30fps max and slow-mo 120p 1080p/FULL-HD video.
OPPO A92 Price and Color Options
OPPO A92 price comes at around $280. The phone is selling for MYR 1199 in Malaysia for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants. It is available in Twilight Black, Aurora Purple, Stream White colors.
