OPPO has officially launched the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant of the OPPO A3s. The phone, initially, was available in just the 2GB RAM variant with 16GB of internal storage. But now OPPO has made the 3GB RAM variant of the phone available for just Rs 26,490. It is almost Rs 7000 more than the base model which in our opinion is a bit unsettling. That said, here is a look at everything the phone has to offer for the price.
OPPO A3s Overview
At the price point, the phone looks premium and the back panel looks quite compelling. The downgraded version of OPPO A3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ ‘Super Full Screen’ in-cell IPS display with a 720x1520p resolution. The 19:9 aspect ratio display has 88.8% screen-to-body-ratio. Powering the device is an octa-core Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 processor which we have seen in Redmi 5, Samsung Galaxy A6+ and Samsung Galaxy J8, earlier this year.
The 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant of the phone has been launched in Nepal. The onboard 32GB of storage can further be upgraded to 256GB via a microSD card. This is a nice upgrade from the 2GB RAM/32GB storage variant that the phone previously was unveiled in.
In terms of optics, the OPPO A3s comes with a dual camera setup on the rear panel with a primary sensor of a 13MP and secondary sensor of 2MP coupled with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel sensor which has support for AI Beauty technology 2.0.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1 on top. The OPPO A3s also comes with face unlock support for data protection. Fueling up the device is a giant 4230mAh non-user removable battery. The device measures 156.2×75.6×8.2mm and weigh in at 168 grams.
