Leagoo has officially launched their latest budget smartphone, the Leagoo P1 here in Nepal. The phone is priced very competitively at only Rs 7800, which to be honest is a very good bargain. And not only that but the phone offers a lot for it including a dual-camera setup, a sleek design, a fingerprint scanner, and a large battery. That said, here are all the things the phone brings to the table.
The Leagoo P1 sports a 5 inch HD display with a pixel density of 294PPI. Under the hood, the P1 packs a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT680A processor backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB. The phone sadly is not 4G compatible but does support dual-sim cards.

In the camera side of things, the P1 packs a dual-camera set up with a combination an 8MP sensor and a 5MP sensor. The inclusion of a dual-camera set-up in a phone which cost less than Rs 10,000 is mind-boggling. Photography enthusiasts on a budget will most definitely be persuaded by this offering. There is also a 5MP front camera for all your high-res selfies. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Leagoo’s own custom UI overlaid on top of it. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is another great addition to a budget smartphone. And finally powering this device all up is a 4000mAh non-user removable battery.
The Leagoo P1 from the looks of it is a great budget smartphone. It offers a lot for the price including a dual-camera setup, a fingerprint scanner, and a large battery. All these inclusion makes the phone hard ignore while looking for a budget smartphone under Rs 10,000 here in Nepal.
