It’s Official, Huawei has launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Huawei Y7P here in Nepal. After weeks of rumors and teasers, Huawei has officially showcased its latest Y-series smartphone. With a price tag of Rs 23,990, here is everything the phone has to offer.
Huawei Y7P: Overview
The Huawei Y7P comes packed with a slew of features. The phone packs a familiar punch-hole design with a gradient back panel. Sitting at the center of it all is a 6.39 inches HD (720 x 1560 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The panel is almost bezel-less with an 82.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the Y7P packs an in-house octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710F chipset. The SoC is the same as the ones we saw in Huawei’s other mid-tier phones like the Y9 Prime 2019. This system is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. With all these hardware, the phone definitely will be able to pack a punch for everyday usage.
In the camera department, the Huawei Y7P packs a triple camera set up made by an f/1.8 48MP wide, f/2.4 8MP ultra-wide, and an f/2.4 2MP depth camera. On the flip side, the phone comes with an f/2.0 8MP front camera. Will all these camera hardware combined the Y7P should be able to take some amazing photos even under the harshest of conditions.
Moving on to the software side of things, the phone packs EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie along with Huawei Mobile Services. This device, in particular, is not affected by the sanctions placed by the US. Other features including a rear fingerprint scanner, expandable storage via micro-sd, Dual-sim slot, Face Unlock 2.0 and much more. And finally, the phone packs a 4000mAh non-user removable battery. This along with the power-efficient chipset and software should be able to provide some good battery life.

The Huawei Y7P price in Nepal is Rs 23,990. It comes in two color variants, the classic Midnight Black and the unique Aurora Blue.
