The Huawei MatePad Pro 5G has a large 10.8-inch IPS LCD display with 2K resolution and minimal bezels. This lets the tablet have a 90% screen to body ratio. The tablet has a slim design with a small thickness of 7.99mm and just 492g weight. The display is also very bright with a max brigtness of 540 nits.
The MatePad Pro 5G runs on the most powerful hardware developed by Huwaei, Kirin 990 5G SoC. The processor is used in other flagship Huawei phones and uses a quad-core Cortex A76 architecture. It also packs a max. 8GB RAM configurations with max. 512GB of internal storage. Just like most Huawei products, it uses a nano Card instead of a micro SD card for expandable storage.
Huwaei MatePad Pro 5G cameras include a 13MP main camera at the back, while the front camera has an 8MP selfie camera.
A key feature of Huawei MatePad Pro 5G is its M-pencil stylus. The M Pencil has a 4096-level pressure-sensitivity leading to a smooth pencil-like user experience. Similar to the Apple pencil and iPad Pro, the M Pencil also supports magnetic matching and wireless fast charging. The tablet also comes with a magnetic keyboard with a slim design and 1.3mm key travel for typing.
With a large screen and powerful processor, Huawei MatePad Pro 5G requires a large battery to last a while. So Huawei has packed a beefy 7250mAh battery that also supports 40W fast charging option along with 27W wireless charging.
