Coolpad is a brand that you may be probably hearing about a lot these days. The company made a comeback here and has been successful in winning over the people of Nepal. Even internationally, the Chinese tech company is ready to make some strides. We have recently received word that Coolpad is gearing up to launch a brand new phone, the Coolpad Cool 20. This is great news especially considering the fact that Coolpad has been providing great value on their devices. Although the arrival of the phone here is not confirmed, we are damn excited about it. Let’s take a look at all the information available to us so far.
Overview
The recent Coolpad smartphones have been providing premium build as well as eye-catching design. The Coolpad Cool 20 looks to follow the same mantra. From the looks of it, the phone will pack a glass-on-glass design with a slew of color options. Cocoa White, Earl Black, and Secret Sea Blue have been listed and man-oh-man do they look good. I also detect a hint of matt-finish but we will have to confirm this once the phone officially launches. One thing we are certain of is that the back panel will be a 2.5D curved high-quality glass with anti-fingerprint and anti-scratch coating.
Talking about the display, there is not much information regarding it. However, if the recent Coolpad phones can tell us anything is that they will be top-notch. Speaking of top-notch, there is one sitting snug on the top center of the display. The resolution of the panel will most likely be Full HD with a screen size 0f 6.2-6.5 inches. This should make up for some amazing multi-media experience.
Camera
The main highlight, however, has to be the rear cameras the phone packs. From the images, we are certain it will have a dual-camera set up with the primary sensor being 48MP. The overall design of the camera bump also looks cool. Something peculiar is the ArcSoft branding on the camera plate. For those scratching their heads on what ArcSoft is, trust me we are on the same boat. A quick Google search revealed that ArcSoft is a photo and video imaging software development company that offers various imaging technologies across devices with major platforms – smartphones, tablets, PCs, smart TVs, digital cameras to cloud based enterprise solutions. So Coolpad, most likely, is collaborating with them to power the AI-backed cameras. This definitely means improved picture quality at least on the software front.
Besides these, nothing much is known to us at the moment. The internal specs in particular are under strict lock and key. We will know more about the phone once it launches officially in China on May 25.

The phone has the makings of a great mid-tier smartphone. From an eye-catching design to AI-backed cameras, the features of the Coolpad Cool 20 are exciting. We can’t wait for the phone to debut and make its way to Nepal.
