HMD Global is back again with three new Nokia Android smartphones viz. Nokia 8.3, Nokia 5.3 and the budget Nokia 1.3. Among the three, the new Nokia 1.3 is the budget choice that comes with Android 10 GO edition software. Flagship grade options from Nokia directly compete with familiar phones from Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO and many more. Nokia 1.3 Features and Specifications
The look and feel of the new phone are similar to most other phones with its waterdrop notch display and curved plastic back design. A noticeable difference is the higher thickness of the screen bezels given the price point of the phone. Nokia 1.3 still manages to pack a big 5.71-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ screen resolution of 720×1520 pixels. A noticeable feature of the screen is its high brightness scale of 400 nits, so the screen is easily viewable in daylight.
In terms of performance, the phone packs a Qualcomm QM215 chipset offering moderate computing power. It has a Quad-core 1.3GHZ Cortex-A53 CPU paired with the Adreno 308 graphics unit. All that is bundled with a 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with microSD card support. Nokia 1.3 performance depends on its software as well, since it has Android 10 GO edition. This makes the interface snappier, although it won’t help the phone run heavy games since it requires more powerful hardware.
For optics, Nokia 1.3 has an 8MP single camera at the back. No multiple cameras or depth sensors, just a single 8MP sensor. As for the selfie camera hiding in the front notch, Nokia 1.3 front camera has a 5MP sensor.
Even though companies like Colors mobile have released phones with fingerprint scanners, Nokia 1.3 doesn’t come with one. The phone is backed up by a 3000mAh battery offering an average screen on time on paper.
